The Architect - Since coming to Bali, internationally acclaimed architect Gary Fell has taken his company, GFab architects from a small handful of architects to over 30 with offices in both Thailand and Indonesia. Working predominantly in Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Indonesia, they specialize in hotels, luxury villa developments, condominiums and bespoke private homes with particular emphasis on tropical architecture. They work closely with developers to produce projects, which are practically elegant and economical. They explore the relationship between the site and the proposal that are sensitive to the environment. Gary believes that “a building should be intimately linked to its site aesthetically and materially and be as energy efficient as possible.”
